WOODLAND ECHOES

Team: Hugo Santana
Location: Driftwood, TX
Type: Residential
Status: Proposal
Year: 2024

Inspired by Driftwood's wooded landscape, our proposal features distinctive concrete structures that rise organically from the ground, creating a striking contrast with the lush green environment. These structures are designed not just for function but to complement and enhance the beauty of the natural setting.

Throughout the project, intricate patterns on the concrete facades mirror the textures and rhythms of the nearby forest, establishing a visual dialogue between the built environment and nature. These patterns are meticulously crafted to interact with natural light and shadow, enriching the living experience throughout the day.

The spaces are designed to offer more than just shelter – they provide immersive environments that encourage a deep connection with the surrounding nature. Whether enjoying a private terrace nestled among trees or taking in expansive views through large windows, every aspect of our design aims to enhance the quality of life amidst the serene backdrop of Driftwood.
