URBAN LANDSCAPE 002

Sculpture

Concrete, Steel,Construction Fencing, PVC Pipe

Completed

2021

This sculpture focus on issues of consumption, social class, immigration and the border. The idea is to challenge the idea of the modern city, to reinvent what’s beneath us, to remind us where we all come from. The sculpture is born out of different crown mouldings and has a skin out of construction fencing playing with the idea of borders and limits. It also explore ideas of labor and the production of value in our contemporary hyper-capitalist world, by weaving fact and fiction together, highlighting the inherent beauty and absurdity of our contemporary existence.
