Short animation of a dystopian city, turning the modernist idea “streets in the sky” into extended cities in the sky, playing with megaforms as urban landscape and the dissolution of the city as a bounded domain. The idea is a ‘high tech’, heavy weight, infra-structural approach focus towards survival technology, experimenting with modular technology, mobility through the environment, space capsules and mass-consumer imagery. The short animation is designed to produce an uneasy, confusing atmosphere, and the whole animation aims to represent a supposedly ordered system that has lost touch with human reason and create a space, where one could experience a feeling of being isolated, helpless and alone. Artificial, futuristic, science fiction meets Philip Glass.
